Naomh Chartaigh U16s who beat St.Mary's in the County Semi Final last Saturday in Lismore. They now go onto to play An Gaeltacht in the County Final this Saturdau Oct 15th in Fraher Field.

​SYMPATHY 
Lismore Gaa Club extends sympathy to the family, relatives & friends of James ( Jim ) Walsh, Gairha, Ballyduff, who died last weekend. Jimmy has been grounds man for our club over the past number of year's. His passing will be sadly missed by all who knew and worked with him.  May he rest in peace.
LISMORE GAA CLUB LOTTO
Our club lotto draw was held on Tuesday evening last in the community centre @ 7.30 p.m. Numbers drawn on the night for the massive JACKPOT OF E20,000 were as follows: 10,19,22,27. No winner. Consolation prizes of E20s went to Francis Geoghegan, Niall & Anne O Brien, Matt Houlihan, & Jimmy O Gorman. Next weeks Jackpot will again be E20,000. Tickets can be purchased locally E2 each or 3 for E5. 
INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP 
Lismore played the Shamrocks in Fraher Field last Sunday in the Semi Final of the Intermediate Championship. After 2 mins Lismore had clocked up 2 wides and took until the 3rd min to register their first score a pt by Dan Shanahan. Mce Shanahan shortly after converted a free leaving score reading 2pts a piece. Jordan Shanahan got a pt from a pass delivered by Jack Prendergast. Both teams exchanged pts, until Jordan was fouled on way to goal which resulted in a penalty been awarded to Lismore . Mce  Shanahan took the penalty and found back of net. Score now 1 05  00-04. 17mins in John Prendergast was fouled, Mce took the free which landed for Dan to take his goal. 27mins score reading 2 05  00 -05. Half time came on the 33rd mins Lismore 2- 06. Shamrocks 0 - 08.
Brian Bennett was replaced by Eoin Bennett at the beginning of the 2nd half. Shortly after the restart John Prendergst scored 2pts, Mce goaled on the 45 mins score now 3 - 14  1- 11. Dan got his second goal on the 53rd mins followed by a pt by Aaron Whelan and another by Jack prendergast. Lismore made some changes bringing on Ronan Landers & Emmett Quann for Stevie Barry & Aaron Whelan,Ollie Lineen for Dan Shanahan. & Peter O Keeffe for Jack Prendergast. Final score Lismore 4 21 Shamrocks 2 12. Lismore are now in Western Final to play the winner's of Modeligo / Brickeys. Scorers for Lismore on the night were Mce. Shanahan   2 13, Dan Shanahan 2 02, John Prendergast 3pts, Jordan Shanahan, Aaron Whelan, Jack Prendergast 1pts each.
