Non County Player League Our Girls played in the final round of the non-County Player League on Wednesday last against Butlerstown in Butlerstown. Having beaten all teams comprehensively in this competition the girls were topping the table going into this game and once again won on a comprehensive score meaning that they won this competition. Well done to all involved! U16A Our U16's were due to play Tramore/Butlerstown on Tuesday 21st but was postponed and will now go ahead on Thursday of this week July 30th in Lismore. County Fixtures Well done to the County Intermediate team who beat Kilkenny Intermediate team on Saturday last on a score line of Waterford 3-05 Kilkenny 0-12. Our club representaives on this panel are Caithriona McGlone(Captain) Nicola Morrissey and Shona Curran Congratulations also to the County U16 Team who beat Dublin on Saturday last on a score line of Waterford 2-08 Dublin 0-10 Our club representative is Faye Curley with her Dad Philly a selector. Both squads are in an All Ireland Semi-Finals evento, the Intermediate squad have one more game to be played. Liberty Insurance Intermediate Camogie Championship 2-8-2015 Kildare V Waterford Used Clothes Recycling Lismore Camogie Club are once again doing a used clothing recycling collection over the coming weeks as fundraiser to help defray the running costs of the club. So its a good incentive to clear out those wardrobes. Dates for the collection will be August 7th and 8th and collection will be at The Lismore Community centre from 10am to 1pm on both days. If you already have clothes gathered collection from you can be organized contact Mary Russell (086)3326128 or Jojo Tobin (087)2063880 for details. Please fill as many black bin bags as you can- the more we collect, the more our club receives. We accept . Lismore Camogie Club hosted an U8 and U10 camogie blitz on Saturday last in Lismore GAA field. A very successful event with over 90 children in attendance from local clubs An Rinn, Ballyduff upper, Lismore, Abbeyside and Modeligo. Thanks to mentors Tricia O Keeffe, Emily Heneghan, Olivia Flynn and Sharon Williams who had all the children prepared for the event and for organising it to run so smoothly. Thanks to Shauna Prendergast, Shauna O Keeffe and Alice Russell who were the referees for the day. Inter County Camogie Congratulations to the Waterford Intermediate Camogie Team who beat Antrim in the first round of the All Ireland Intermediate Championship on Saturday last.Score Waterford 6-9 Antrim 1-3. Well done to our club representatives Caithriona McGlone, Nicola Morrissey and Shona Curran Congratulations also to the Waterford U16 team who also beat Antrim in the first round of the U16B All Ireland Championship on Sunday last. Club Camogie Senior Championship St. Annes V Lismore Fri July 10th at 7.30 Non County Player League Lismore 6-14 Gall Tir 2-2 The next round of the Non County player league is due to go ahead on Wednesday July 15th V Portlaw in Portlaw. U16 Championship Lismore V Dungarvan This game was played yesterday Tuesday 7th result not known at the time of going to press Junior Championship Lismore V Ferrybank This game Lismore were comprehensively beaten. Next round is due to be played Clonea V Lismore on Thursday July 9th at 7.30 pm U 12 League The U12 league is now completed and the following are the teams that Lismore played;Dungarvan, Portlaw, Abbeyside, Tramore and De La Salle.
